Currently under construction, this contemporary small lot home is situated in the bayside suburb of Wellington Point. The clients requested that the main living areas be on the upper floor to maximise the bay breezes and water views to the rear.

Upon passing under the exposed steel structure of the front porch you are greeted with a view directly through the entrance to a waterfall and pond beyond. The ground floor houses two of the four bedrooms along with the lounge room (with its soaring 3.6 meter ceilings), which flow out to the pool and patio.

The upper floor has two ensuited master bedrooms, a study and the main living areas. Through the clever use of acrylic bi-parting doors, the whole corner of the study can be opened up and incorporated into the main living areas.

By using raked ceiling and high level windows, a feeling of open spaciousness has been achieved within the living and kitchen areas. Large bi-fold doors enable the whole rear wall to be pulled back and opened up to the patio and out-door kitchen.
