
Project Details
This residence in Highview Terrace Daisy Hill will be commencing construction in April 2022. The client’s request was for a large contemporary residence which could easily accommodate their four teenage children, as well as two home offices and a gym. Upon approaching this three level, 1000m² residence you are greeted at the gate house with a three meter high waterfall which spills down from the pool above. From the gate house you are lead up to the ground floor which houses the main living and office areas. Through careful zoning, privacy is achieved between the public and private areas.


Best Construction Idea
The main ground floor totals 500m², of which 400m² is dedicated to flexible living areas. Through careful site analysis, the main living has been designed so that the clients have multiple living areas which can be used at different times throughout the year. The summer zone has been located to the South, where shade and the use of the pool is vital, and the winter zone to the North, where warmth from the sun and the use of a fire pit for night time is important. The kitchen has been centrally located between the two and has the ability to change orientation between the summer and winter zones. The upper floor houses the sleeping quarters which include an upper floor living area, three bedrooms and two master suites. Both master suites have their own en-suites and walk in robes, as well as their own balconies.
